The other day I had a friend ask me what was it about Twilight that got me hooked. (He recently found out I got into them). Here's the perfect answer (from TwilightGuy.com):

My wife started reading the books and was totally consumed by them. When she finished the first book she immediately flipped back to the first page and started reading it again.

I, of course, laughed it off when my wife kept using words like "smoldering" and "passion" when talking about the books. So when the movie came out on DVD, I decided to watch the movie with my wife to see what the big deal is.

Big mistake. I had to find out what happened in the story after the movie. I am now on book three. Twilight is not just all the "smoldering" and "passion", it is the whole vampire legend and the characters and the way Stephenie writes that has me sucked into these books. The books are very good and I am not afraid to admit it. So there. :)"
